Using chat

Pick an assistant, attach files, dictate, keep generated charts in your library, manage what Harmona remembers, and share a chat with a teammate.

La documentación está en inglés y turco, como la interfaz de Harmona. Esta página se muestra en inglés.

Chat is where you talk to the assistants your team has built in Studio. Open Chat in the sidebar to start a new conversation.

Choose an assistant

Every chat runs on one assistant. On a new chat, pick it from the selector at the top of the page. Once you send the first message, the chat keeps that assistant. Assistants are built in Studio.

  • Assistants in the sidebar lists every assistant you can use, with its description and how many sources it reads. Search by name and open one to start a chat with it.
  • If the assistant has Conversation starters, they appear under its name. Click one to send it.
  • You only see assistants that are active and shared with you at Can use or higher. If the list is empty, ask the person who manages your assistants.

Attach files

Click Attach files, then Select from computer. The assistant reads the files together with your message.

LimitValue
File typesPDF, DOCX, PPTX, CSV, XLSX, MD, TXT, PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, HEIC, HEIF
Files per messageUp to 10
Total size per messageUp to 10 MB

If you press send while files are still being processed, the message waits and goes out once they are ready. Files that cannot be processed are left out, and Harmona tells you which ones.

Dictate a message

Click the microphone (Dictate) and speak. The box shows Listening... while it records, and your words are added to the message box. Nothing is sent until you press send, so you can correct the text first. The button appears only when your browser supports speech input.

What an answer can contain

What an assistant can produce depends on how it was set up in Studio. Depending on its settings, an answer can include:

  • Sources it used from your documents, databases and other connections.
  • Charts you can expand or download as PNG.
  • Images you can open at full size or download.
  • Tables you can download as CSV.
  • Suggested follow-ups you can click to ask next.

Under each answer you can copy it, or rate it with Good Response or Bad Response. A bad rating asks what went wrong. The team that manages the assistant reviews these ratings in its Feedback panel. You can also edit a message you sent.

The library

Library in the sidebar collects the charts and images generated in your chats, on two tabs: Charts and Images. Use it to find a chart again without scrolling back through old conversations.

Find a past chat

Past conversations open from the recent-chats icon in the chat header. From there you can rename or delete a chat, and see the chats others shared with you under Shared with me.

Personalization and memory

Harmona can remember facts and preferences from your conversations and use them in later answers. Open Personalization from your user menu at the bottom of the sidebar.

  • Memory is on by default. Each memory is labelled Preference or Fact.
  • Search your memories, forget a single one, or remove them all with Clear All.
  • With Memory off, Harmona answers each conversation on its own.

Atención

Turning Memory off deletes all your existing memories for good. Turning it back on starts from an empty list.

Share a chat

The owner of a chat can hand it to a teammate so they can read it or continue it. How chat sharing differs from sharing an agent is described in Sharing and access.

  1. 1Open the chat and click Share in the header.
  2. 2Add people by name or email.
  3. 3Choose Can view (read only) or Can use (they can reply), then click Save.
  • Admins do not see your chats. Only you and the people you add can open a chat.
  • Access follows the chat, not the assistant. People you add can ask the assistant inside this conversation even if they cannot use it elsewhere. Harmona may offer to share the assistant with them too: choose Share the agent or Not now.
  • The share window lists the sources the assistant reads. Sources built on a personal account are marked Runs as each member.
  • People you share with find the chat under Shared with me. They can remove it from their list with Leave; you keep it.

Atención

Deleting a shared chat removes it for everyone you shared it with, not only for you.
The approval mode chip next to the send button decides when the assistant asks before acting. See Approvals.
