Chat & Inbox
Inbox
Your Inbox collects workflow runs, approval requests, Worker reports, account connection requests and notifications, with the items that need you on top.
La documentation existe en anglais et en turc, comme l'interface de Harmona. Cette page est affichée en anglais.
The Inbox is one place for everything your workflows and Workers send you. Open Inbox in the sidebar. The badge shows how many items are unread.
How the Inbox is organised
- Each card is one thread: everything a single workflow or Worker has sent you. The newest activity is at the top.
- Needs you lists threads with something waiting for your answer. Recent lists the rest.
- The filter at the top switches between All, Messages (what was sent to you) and Runs (how workflow runs went). An open card has the same two tabs.
What lands here
| Item | Where it comes from | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Workflow run | A run of a workflow you take part in | Follow its status, steps and run data |
| Approval needed | A human approval step in a workflow | Approve, Reject or Request changes |
| Worker | A Worker you belong to: a finished, failed or paused task, a reminder, being added to a Worker | Open worker or Open the task conversation |
| Connection request | A workflow you are assigned to needs one of your accounts | Connect your account or Dismiss |
| Notification | A Harmona Inbox step in a workflow | Read it |
Answer an approval request
When a workflow reaches a human approval step, the run pauses and the request appears under Needs you. It shows the message the workflow wrote for you and, when it has one, when it expires.
- 1Open the request and read the message. Open the run data if you need more context.
- 2Click Approve or Reject. To ask for something different, click Request changes, describe the changes and click Send request.
- 3The run continues from the next step. The workflow decides what happens after each answer.
A request assigned to you can only be answered by you.
Attention
Workflow runs
If you are a run participant of a workflow, its runs appear here. A run shows its status (Pending, Running, Waiting for you, Completed, Failed or Cancelled), how it was triggered, when it started and finished, how long it took, its steps and the error if it failed.
Connection requests
Some workflow steps act as each participant, through that person's own account. If you have not connected the account a workflow needs, you get a request that names the app, for example Connect Gmail. Click it to sign in with your own account, or click Dismiss if it does not apply to you. The request shows Connected once you are done.
Read and unread
- Opening an item marks it as read.
- Approval requests stay highlighted until you answer them, even after you open them.
- Mark all as read clears every other unread item in one click.
Archive
Click Archive on an item to move it out of your list. Switch to Archived at the top to see archived items, and Unarchive to bring one back. Archiving only affects your own Inbox; other recipients still see the item.
